Camp Everglades is a one-acre play area at Volunteer Park that provides a unique environment and educational opportunity for children. The Everglades-themed park opened on December 21, 2004 and features such playground equipment as an Everglades village, a fishing camp with tree huts, and more. A Ciboney Tribe member worked with an artist and Plantation students to create the Spirit of Sound art pieces that are found throughout the park.

A corporate pavilion and two standard pavilions are available to rent for parties, picnics and family gatherings.
