The City of Plantation in partnership with the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is planning a new sidewalk on Cypress Road from NW 65th Avenue to North Fig Tree Lane. This project will provide connectivity between the existing sidewalks along Cypress Road on N. Fig Tree Lane and NW 65th Avenue and allow local residents to travel to different city parks, schools, and shopping plazas.

The scope of work of this project will include the construction of a 5-foot concrete sidewalks, ADA compatible curb ramps at road intersections, detectable warning surfaces, new crosswalk stripping, and drainage and landscaping modifications as deemed necessary.
