Tree City USA : 40 years

The City of Plantation was named a 2023 Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of its commitment to effective urban forest management. The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with the U.S Forest Service and the National Association of State Foresters.  This is the 40th year the City has been designated as a Tree City USA.

Green Business Certification Program

The City of Plantation Green Business Certification Program is designed to promote and encourage businesses to operate in ways that protect the environment as well as use best practices that are aligned with the City’s goals to maximize the sustainability and resiliency of our planet.
