Plantation Pointe

The Motorola campus located at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and University Drive has undergone a transformation from a secure single use complex to a multi-tenant employment center and retail park named Plantation Pointe. The 77.5-acre site encompasses a million square foot industrial complex previously fully occupied by Motorola. A substantial portion of the facility will continue to be occupied by Motorola Solutions. The balance will be repurposed to accommodate a number of companies, including Magic Leap, Baptist Healthcare Endoscopy Center and Sheridan Healthcare. A portion of the site accommodates the addition of four retail buildings that include: Walgreens, Starbucks, McAllister’s Deli, AT&T, Chipotle, Panda Express, Pieology Pizzeria, and Habit Burger.

Fashion Mall/Plantation Walk

The old Fashion Mall site is finally under development and will be rebranded as Plantation Walk. Located on the west side of University Drive approximately 1/2 mile north of Broward Boulevard, it will include the existing seven-story office building, Sheraton Suites hotel, and structured parking. The three-story shopping mall previously existing on the site was recently demolished. The proposed plan includes development of: New entrances to the existing office building and existing hotel; two retail buildings wrapping around the existing hotel on the north, south, and east; a five story office building; a one story learning center; two mixed use buildings, both with retail components on the ground floor and residential units above in 6 to 7 stories; and two retail buildings fronting University Drive.

Westfield Broward Mall

Located at the intersection of Broward Boulevard and University Drive, the Broward Mall has over 1 million square feet of indoor shops including department stores, specialty stores and restaurants. The mall is anchored by Macy’s, Dillard’s, J.C. Penney and Sears and offers over 120 national and regional stores.

The Fountains Shoppes of Distinction

This is an open-air 440,000 square feet complex featuring shopping, entertainment and dining located just north of I-595 on University Drive. The shopping center features Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, TooJay’s, Lime Fresh, Home Goods/Marshall’s, Cheese Course, 5 Guys, Total Wine, JoAnn’s, and more.

East Sawgrass Shopping District
