lost on foot graphicThe Plantation Police Department has a Lost on Foot program designed to aid law enforcement in the recovery of a loved one who has wandered from his or her residence. The Lost on Foot program facilitates the return of individuals who are at risk of wandering due to an irreversible deterioration of intellectual faculties such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, or Autism.

Family members may request that the Plantation Police Department retain information about their loved one which will be used to help locate the individual if he or she wanders from home. Information about the individual will also be linked to his or her home and provided to officers in real time when responding to the residence.

If you wish to provide the Plantation Police Department with information regarding your loved one, please complete the Lost on Foot Online Form. For any questions regarding the Lost on Foot program please send an email to DGeller@psd.plantation.org
