The Plantation Police Department is dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships with the businesses and residential dwellings within our community to ensure the safety of the public. We affirm that the Planation Police Department Trespass Program will aid our efforts to address quality of life issues within our community, as well as through the judicial system when a resulting arrest is made. By joining our voluntary trespass program, it will empower officers to more effectively address concerns, creating a safer and more vibrant community.

Enrollment into the Trespass Program authorizes Plantation Police Department Officers to act as agents of owner/property management in enforcing the provisions of Florida State Substantive Law (FSS) 810.08 and 810.09. Officers of the Plantation Police Department are specifically authorized to make reasonable requests to vacate any persons on your property at a time in which the premises is not open to the public. Furthermore, the officers are authorized to act as agents of the owner/property management in the barring, or subsequent arrest of any subjects who refuse a reasonable request to vacate the premises given by officers. By following these simple steps below, any Plantation Police officer can act as your authorized representative, even in your absence, to order trespassers to vacate your property.
