In order to apply for a permit, you must be a licensed contractor* and have completed the Registration Process:

  1. Register for an account with Citizen Access.
  2. Download and fill out the Online Web User Declaration Form.  If you would like to add a Delegate to your account, please complete the Online ePermit Delegate Authorization Form as well.
  3. Submit signed, notarized form(s) to our office.  You may drop it off, email it to helpmebuilding@plantation.org or mail to:

Once you have completed all the steps, you will receive an email notification within 1-2 business days from the City of Plantation advising you of your status.

*If you need to apply for a Building permit and are not a licensed contractor (i.e., Owner/Builder, Developer, Permit Expeditor, etc.), please contact our office for more information.
