The City of Plantation Parks and Recreation Department takes pride in its national accreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies. As part of our commitment to safety and security, all incumbents in any job class are required to undergo a Level II Background Screening. This screening process involves a photograph and fingerprint-based searches of criminal records nationwide, utilizing the electronic LiveScan process.

As provided in the Florida Statutes, preference will be given to applicants who are eligible.
